Roger, together with Mr. George Calder, has developed a variety of leadership support services and made them available in easily accessible training formats. Whether through training seminars, CD-ROMs, strategic planning workshops, or leadership conference presentations, Roger's ability to develop high-performance leaders is an invaluable resource that can benefit all organizations.

The Leadership Training Series is an efficient and highly focused educational tool for the development of leaders, regardless of their experience level. The ten 3-hour seminars provide a clear summary of essential leadership information, with hands-on case studies that give the participants a chance to practice what they learn.

These four programs offer participants a workshop environment in which they can develop the interpersonal skills that are needed in order to grow as effective leaders.

2 Day Leadership Symposium

This program is designed for all individuals who are assuming leadership roles within their company, or as volunteers for their REALTOR® association. The content of the Leadership Symposium is designed to provide participants with an awareness of the universal principles of leadership along with opportunities to apply their skills in small group exercises.

Many people come to their leadership positions with a sophisticated understanding of the real estate business, and highly developed skills as a practicing, licensed professional. In their role as leaders however, their value to their company or REALTOR® organization comes from their ability to lead others to maximize opportunities.

The Leadership Symposium provides a clear and straightforward summary of the essential information needed for leaders to perform effectively in this complex and challenging role. These programs provide an easily accessible resource for leaders who have never received leadership training, as well as an outstanding refresher for those with previous leadership training.

As a result of attending the Leadership Symposium, participants will be able to:

  • Serve as productive members of their company’s / REALTOR® organization leadership
  • Identify the elements necessary to effectively lead a committee or work group
  • Describe the characteristics, processes, and organizational components of high performing work teams
  • Outline the steps that result in efficient and productive work group meetings
  • Identify the major concepts and techniques of effective leadership communication
  • Develop a goal based strategic plan
